Director Academic Communities - Foundational Math & Critical Text Analysis

Cash Clifton is the Director of Academic Communities and the Academic Foundations Coordinator for the University of New Mexico. He’s been teaching math for nearly 20 years and is passionate about helping students overcome fear of math. A founding member of NMDELT, Cash possesses a background in counseling, teaching math in New Mexico public schools, and restaurant management. An early adopter of technology in the classroom, he has experience using several software programs, including PLATO, ALEKS, MyMathLab, and EdReady. Cash believes in meeting students where they’re at while building a solid foundation for academic excellence and a passion for lifelong learning.
