Intro to Film

Nicole Kesel is an adjunct faculty member for both Film and Digital Arts and Arts Leadership and Business Departments specializing in historical analysis of the arts and business development practices. She has been teaching and researching the arts in higher education settings for the past 17 years. Her research areas include neuroaesthetics and embodied learning – powerful and transformational concepts for artist entrepreneurs. While Nicole is an arts educator, she is also an active entrepreneur herself, developing and managing several small businesses since 2003. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in art education and an M.A. in art education from The Ohio State University where she also taught as a lecturer in the Art Education department until moving to New Mexico.
