Greetings, I'm Mario Montoya. I'm an MFA candidate in Creative Writing here at UNM, specializing in Nonfiction, with a deep interest in Chicano Literature as well. I write a lot about New Mexico and the Chicano experience. As an instructor, it is my pleasure to work with many different types of students, and my duty to incorporate many different voices into the classroom. Working with Academic Communities, I will be fortunate enough to do that, while discussing some of my own personal passions; that is, writing, reading, politics and music.
