Foundational Math

Kali Levsen loves helping students find their “aha!” moments.  Her teaching philosophy emphasizes student empowerment through dynamic teaching styles, building self-efficacy, and promoting self-awareness.  She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Iowa State University and has been a part of the research in annelid development.  Afterwards, she moved to New Mexico and continued her studies, earning a Master of Public Health at New Mexico State University while working as a chemistry lab technician at UNM.  The sunshine brought her to New Mexico and the wonderful people here have made it home.
