I am a Student Success Specialist in the Liberal Arts & Integrative Studies program at UNM, and a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). I teach Public Speaking at Central New Mexico Community College in the Spring and Summer, and I am frequent guest on the Albuquerque drive-time radio show, The Rock of Talk. I play drums like a beast, and I can easily beat you at darts, foosball and Mario Kart 8.

As a former graduate of the Anderson Schools of Management, and employee of the University for 10 years; I have a vast knowledge of the resources available for students at UNM. I have worked as an advisor for the University since 2006, where I have made connections and worked with many of the support programs that freshmen students use. My teaching experience includes teaching this course since 2007 as well as being an instructor at Central New Mexico Community College.

I graduated from a class of 28 seniors, and grew up in a rural community. Coming to college and living in a residence hall with more people than my hometown was exciting and different. It took me a long time to adjust to college level work and wish that I had taken a UNIV 101-type class as a Freshman.
